Situated on a little over two acres, Raich says the property has the allure of a Montana ranch without the responsibility. “It borders a 1,700-acre working ranch,” Raich said. “So you can enjoy all that but you don’t have to take care of it.” The home is also close to a trail head accessing Gallatin National Forest, 1.8-million acres of land in the Northern Rockies. But despite the proximity to Gallatin, the home is only ten miles from downtown Livingston. A location, says Raich, that is nearly as unique as the home. According to Zillow’s mortgage calculator , a monthly payment on the home would be $2,587, assuming a 20 percent down payment on a 30-year-mortgage .
